Marraskuu jotenkin vilahti ohi ilman ristipistopäivityksiä, vaikka aihettakin olisi ollut. Yahoon Stitched Mailart -ryhmän marraskuun vaihdon aiheena oli Enkeli. Kuoret postitettiin marraskuun puolivälissä ja Lilian Hollannista oli parini.

November seems to have passed by without a blog entry though there would have been a reason for it. The theme for the Yahoo's Stitched Mailart group's November exchange was Angels. The envelopes were sent out by the mid-November and Lilian from Holland was my partner.

Tässä kuoren etupuoli. Hauskat enkelit nimen ja osoitteen molemmin puolin ja vielä aiheeseen sopivat postimerkitkin.

Taakse Lilian pisteli tämän herkän enkelin, jonka tähtisauvassa kimaltelee hopealanka. Alla vielä selvällä suomenkielellä hyvän joulun toivotukset.

On the back side Lilian stitched this delicate angel and on the top of the wand the star is glimmering in silver. At the bottom she stitched Merry Christmas in Finnish.

Minä pistelin oman kuoreni Lilianille luonnonväriselle pellavalle. Oli hauska yhteensattuma, että me molemmat pistelimme enkelit osoitekentän molemmin puolin.

I stitched my envelope for Lilian on natural colour linen. It was a nice coincidence that we both stitched angels on both sides of the name and address.

Takaosan enkelin tein kultalangalla ja mielestäni siitä tuli hieman liian kimaltava, pelkät siivet kultalangalla olisivat riittäneet.

On the back I stitched an angel with metallic gold and it is perhaps a bit too glistening. It would have been better to do only the wings with the metallic thread.
