Hanni oli ensimmäisen taitohaastetyöni uhri. Aihe oli jo alkuunsa ihan selvä, koska olen lukenut Hannin mökistä ja sen ruusuiseksi muotoutuvasta sisustuksesta. Piti vain miettiä mitä teen, koska ompelemaan en uskaltanut ruveta, Hanni on sen verran taitava tilkkuilija ja ompelukoneen polkija ;-) Sitten keksin, että ompelijahan tarvitsee varmasti neulatyynyn ja niin pistelin aida-kankaalle ruusuisia sydämiä biscornun muotoon.

En ole pitänyt taitohaasteen(kaan) kanssa mitään kiirettä, koska arvelin, että onhan tässä vielä aikaa... Jep, jep, helmikuun lopussa tulee se luvattu vuosi täyteen! Mihin tämä aika oikein kuluu? Toivottavasti jaksatte Stansta, Holly ja Liskonainen vielä hetken odottaa. Kyllä täältä pesee, mutta ihan varmasti en uskalla luvata aivan lähiaikoina. Joulutouhut ja -kiireet alkavat pukata päälle ja haluan yrittää rauhassa miettiä teille jokaiselle jotain mieleistä.

Hanni (writes only in Finnish) was the first receiver of my Craft Challenge. The topic for the challenge was easy to decide as I had read about her new cottage and the way she was decorating it with rose theme. I just had to think what to do as I didn't want to sew anything because Hanni does beautiful quilts and is very skilled with her sewing machine :-) Then I had a thought that a quilter might need a pincushion and so I stitched rosy hearts on Aida as a biscornu.

I haven't been paying much attention to the Craft Challenge because I thought there is still time... Well, next February the promised year will come to an end! Where does the time go? I hope Stansta, Holly and Liskonainen will have some more patience. I will fulfill this challenge but most probably not very soon. Christmas is too near and I want to have time to think something special for each and everyone of you.
