Viime syksynä päätimme Janin kanssa vaihtaa sydänaiheiset kirjekuoret hyvin joustavalla aikataululla. Minä sain omani valmiiksi joulukuussa ja se ehti perille Janille juuri jouluaatoksi. Jan postitti omansa Suomen osoitteeseeni ja kun mies piipahti siellä pari viikkoa sitten, hän toi tullessan tämän kauniin kuoren.

Osoite on kirjailtu kultaisella langalla ja kolmen ristipistellyn sydämen lisäksi kuoressa on kaksi huopasydäntä. Toisella puolella on suuri monivärinen sydän, sen sisällä mansikan muotoisia sydämiä ja teksti "Sweetter Pie". Sisältä löytyi kolme kaunista sydänteemaan sopivaa lankatokkaa, rasiallinen sydämen muotoisia pastilleja ja kortti kylästä, jossa Jan asuu. Tätä kyllä kannatti odottaa! Kiitos Jan!

Last year in the autumn I and Jan decided to exchange hearts-themed envelopes with a very flexible timetable. I finished mine in December and Jan received it on Christmas Eve. Jan mailed her envelope to my address in Finland and when my husband went there two weeks ago he brought back with him this beautiful envelope.

The address is stitched with golden thread and there are three stitched hearts and two felt ones. On the other side there is a big multicoloured heard with strawberry shaped hearts and the text: Sweetter Pie". Inside I found three skeins of thread which suit the heart theme perfectly, a little box of heart shaped candy and a postcard of the village where Jan lives. This envelope was worth waiting for!
